Earth, the blue planet is covered 75% by water. Many ancient cultures carry mythological tales about water Gods and Goddesses. In many cultures water has been revered and found its origin in the form of water Goddess and Gods.
According to Roman Mythology, Neptune remained as the God of the sea. He carried a trident and rode a dolphin or a horse. Sea horses were his mode of transportation. He is the son of Saturn, grand son of Uranus.Volturnus is considered as the God of water in Roman mythology.
