Lazy people exist everywhere. They abide in the squalor of the big cities as well as the more sedentary rural areas of the country. What exactly are lazy people? Lazy people are those individuals who live among us, work with us, and play with us. They are just like you and I except for their obvious lack of motivation. Lazy people are capable of manipulating their family, friends, and coworkers into doing their work for them. The can also find many excuses or reasons for others to clean, cook and care for them.
Hard working, industrious people find the very presence of lazy people disdainful to them. Lazy people and industrious people rarely get along, despite the well known belief that opposites attract.
It is difficult to say why some people are lazier than others. There exists no apparent causes for laziness, but there are numerous speculations. One of these speculation concerns the upbringing of lazy people. It is widely held among the general population that lazy people are not raised by their families to perform any tasks other than bathing and eating by their respective families since the time that they were born. The childhood experiences of industrious people differ greatly from those of their lazier counterparts.Children of industrious parents are often encouraged to do things for themselves, rather than have others do things for them. Lazy people are dependent, while industrious people are much more independent.
Lazy people learn to lie if necessary, to obtain assistance in completing chores, work, and other tasks that they may be required to perform by membership in a family unit or as an employee of a company.
Substance abuse may be the cause of some lazy peoples lack of industry or motivation. Television sets and radios have also contributed greatly to the possibility of becoming seduced by laziness in many families and companies.
Impulse control is another character trait that aids in the definition of laziness. Lazy people find it difficult to manage simple impulses and tend to overindulge in pleasure seeking activities like eating pizzas, drinking beers, and watching television. These people are more likely to be found on the sofa watching a ball game rather than out in the sunshine.
They rarely take out the trash or make their beds in the morning. Without a parent, spouse, or friend to perform these simple, but necessary tasks for them, lazy people could, one day, be found dead in their homes amidst heaps of garbage and trash. They could actually die from self neglect.
Other than watching TV or listening to music, lazy people exhibit little or no creativity or ambition. They do not play an instrument other than the air guitar and express no interest, what so ever in obtaining employment. The mere mentioning of finding a job to a lazy person could bring on an attack of hypochondria.
Lazy people may also be inflicted with a psychiatric disorder called hypochondria. They frequently complain of nonexistent diseases and injuries that have no basis in reality to gain compassion and sympathy from others.
Is there a cure for laziness? The best treatment for laziness is a boot in the rear from a concerned family member or coworker. Verbal and psychological pressure to induce physical activity must be kept constant on the lazy person for atleast a year. There is no guarantee that treatment will work and reduce or eliminate instances of laziness in the lazy person be treated.
