What is happening to the world? The teenagers are kissing on shows that come on the Disney channel and Nickelodeon. People kiss and make out in commercials. They also show too much skin on television. For example, “Dancing with the Stars” is supposed to be a family show but I can not watch that with my ten and six year old daughters. They show too much skin and gyrating on that show. Every year it goes raunchier. I remember when they would not show a married couple on television sleeping in the same bed. When the “Flintstones” first came out they used to never show Fred and Wilma sleeping in the same bed. Then they started showing them in sleeping together in the same bed and that was a big deal. The Flintstones now would probably have affairs and some more bad stuff if they were still on the air. I also remember when the guy showed his behind on “NYPD Blue”. You would have thought the world was coming to an end. Now they show almost everybody part except for the main areas.

I said all of that to show that the world is becoming more accepting of things that it did not used to. The world is losing its morals. It is starting to accept the fact that more teenagers are becoming pregnant. I am sure that the statistics do not include the number of teenagers having abortions everyday. The number of teenagers having babies is increasing and the age is decreasing. Kids are becoming parents younger and younger. It is society. Society is okay with body parts being shown, and teenagers on television always talking about dating on kids shows. It has become cute. It is not cute because it is everywhere. The more kids see that stuff the more they are going to become like it. Society needs to get some moral back. It is time to sensitize what our kids are watching. If not we are going be watching the world fall apart.

How can society get the kids back? By not letting them grow up too fast. Everyone should pay attention to what kids are doing in their rooms behind closed doors. If they have a computer, log on and check emails, cell phones, everything. We have to be in our kids’ faces making sure they are on the right path and not being consumed by lustful desires. It is better to direct them on the right path when they are young because when they are older it may be too late.
