How is Racism Learned - Taught
Is Racism Taught or Learned
Racism is most certainly taught but a confused with the word learned. Even to teach one must learn. Should someone see on the television a program supporting racist views you could say that’s learned but the reality is it’s still being taught.
Here is the truth most people have fail to convey in so many years…There Has Never Been A Reason For Racism. The idea that a person isn’t liked because they look different then me, talk different then me, thinks different then me is so stupid it makes my whole body shake.
Tell me this, does all your friends look like you, do all the people in your life act like you, does your sister/brother think exactly like you? People have been dragging this dead weight around called racism because I am certain these people truly don’t have much going on in their life and they are only looking for attention which means this is the easiest way to get it.
Let’s face it, if someone really had things going on in their life do you really think they would have the time for this nonsense? Oh they could be CEOs of corporations but that doesn’t mean they are fulfilled and taking on new challenges.
We can lie to ourselves all we want especially when we’re young, but brother get old and the same ailments killing that White man, is the same ailments killing that Black man, that Hispanic man, That Asian man, etc. The doctor isn’t using white medicine for White people and black medicine for Black people.
How absolutely unforgivable good and innocence people had to die over nothing but lies and ignorant people for no reason at all. Racism can be summed up in one word “SELFISHNESS!”
Racism doesn’t really exist except within the boundaries of our minds.
Look around you, race relationships have improved because people stepped up to the plate and said to themselves, ‘no longer will I play this game call hate your brother.’ We can expect there will always be those who will try to divide us and that’s not the problem, the problem is when we let them into our lives [can anyone say Jim Jones? ]
As individuals, the founding fathers of this nation weren’t always right but the concept or ideals for a great nation can only happen when “United We Stand” “Divided We Fall.”
Make no mistake, racism will raise its ugly head again, the only question will be then is what are you prepared to do? Those brave Black, White, Mexicans, and everyone else who gave their life so that hate would not prevail in America has my undying respect and gratitude.
